ESTRENO: Runaways

HOLA A TODOS!!!

Hoy he preferido actualizar antes y así no me coge el toro.

Hoy han tenido lugar un par de Estrenos (alguno, como siempre, dando la lata y no se deja ver -.-) y he elegido el de:

RUNAWAYS DE THE KILLERS!!!

Me acabo de dar cuenta de que es la primera vez que os traigo algo de The Killers cuando me gustan bastante!

Son una banda de rock inspirada en el sonido ochentero, y es eso precisamente lo que los hace diferentes.

Yo los conozco desde Read My Mind, que aparece en su segundo álbum: Sam's Town (del 2.006), pero antes de éste ya publicaron Hot Fuss en el 2.004. Pero sin duda dieron el bombazo con Human, incluido en su Day & Age, del 2.008.

Bien, pues tras la salida de este álbum, y en plena cresta de la ola van y dicen que se iban a tomar un descanso (muy típico en las bandas) y es ahí donde el cantante, el mormón Brandon Flowers, decidió aprovechar el momento y publicar material en solitario: Flamingo llegó en 2.010 con su single Crossfire (aún con un sonido muy The Killers).

Total, que este año es el de la vuelta del grupo (como tanta otra gente...), y lo harán con Battle Born, el 18 de septiembre.

Runaways es la canción que han decidido que sea la de su vuelta. Según he leído ya hacía tiempo que la tenían preparada y ha sido ahora cuando la han publicado. Se echaba de menos a estos tíos, aunque no suponga una graaaaan novedad. Pero eso sí, Brandon parece que canta mucho mejor ^^

Y si la canción es algo muy The Killers el video no podía ser menos! Aunque tampoco es que hayan arriesgado mucho...

Básicamente veréis a la banda con un fondo negro, algunas escenas de una carretera y conforme va animándose la cosa luces rojas lo alumbran todo... la carretera, el escenario, el micrófono... Me ha gustado lo de las plataformas de luz.

Total, que tendremos que estar pendiente al nuevo material del grupo a ver qué pasa. Hasta la próxima (mañana?) ;)
