CANCIÓN DEL DÍA: The Edge of Glory

Lo prometido es deuda y ya estoy aquí de nuevo! ^^

Bien, hoy ya he decidido ir con algo fuerte, y por supuesto polémica porque el video de esta canción ha traído cola, así que allá que voy:

THE EDGE OF GLORY DE LADY GAGA!!!

No sé ni por dónde empezar... jeje

The Edge of Glory, por lo que tengo entendido, no iba a ser originalmente el 3º single (creo que iba a ser Marry the Night, que sólo la pondré, como ya sabéis, si saliera video). Fue lanzado en la cuenta atrás del disco (cosa que está muy de moda últimamente, lanzar un par de semanas antes de la salida del disco en Itunes una canción del álbum por semana, para ver cómo son aceptadas y tal) y tuvo tan buena acogida que Gaga decidió cambiar los planes...

El tema fue compuesto en honor a su abuelo, que falleció hace unos meses. Es más lento de lo que nos tiene acostumbrados, y lo más "destacable" es el puente al final de la canción, que incluye un saxo (tocado, por cierto, por Clarence Clemons que falleció hace unos meses, y por el que Gaga pidió a sus fans que le desearan una pronta recuperación, según podeis ver en este video... una lástima que no pudiera ser así =[ ).

Yo tengo que decir que a mí el tema... no es que me guste mucho, y aquí en España fue muy comentada la posibilidad de plagio por parte de Gaga hacia Soraya por su canción Sin Miedo. Acusar de plagio son ya palabras mayores, pero la verdad es que la canción se parece en cuanto a ritmo y tal... no sé si Soraya llegó a pronunciarse o no, pero lo que tampoco me parece bien es que se desprecie a Soraya, cuando es una chica que se ha visto metida en esta polémica sin comerlo ni beberlo, la pobre XDDD

Bueno, que dejo ya de enrollarme: EL VIDEO!

Yo lo siento mucho por los talifans, pero voy a tomar prestado el título que vi en un blog que sigo ($lobWorld, pasaos por allí que está muy bien) y cambiarle el título a la canción por The Edge of Boring, porque es que el video ha sido todo un sacrilegio a la canción! ¬¬

Es un video totalmente plano. No dice nada. Los Little Monsters ya diciendo que como es una canción dedicada a su abuelo, pues ha querido hacer honor a sus orígenes, al barrio de NY donde vivió y tal... BAH! Donde no hay nada, no hay nada.

Estuve viendo en foros y tal que en este video iba a aparecer una sirena (con el pelo verde, como lo lleva últimamente) y cuando quedaban horas para el estreno se desveló que a última hora Gaga había prescindido (no sé exactamente qué pasó) de Joseph Kahn (el supuesto director del video) para llevar ella la batuta... MUY MAL!!! ¬¬

No veas que parrafada... no va a leerlo ni dios!!! XDDDD

Pues eso, que no me ha gustado el video. Ahora matadme!!!
